Experimental Conditions

Every experimental database entry (both backend and frontend) included the attribute conditions. This attrubute contains teh experimental conditions for the associated data. While a data entry for every experiment type contains the conditions attribute, the embedded conditions attributes vary based on experiment type.

Cyclic Voltammetry (CV)

Meta Properties

  • Oxidation Potential, Reduction Potential: The 4-point method is used to evaluate reorganization energy.
  • Diffusion Coefficient: Diffusion coefficient is calculated using the Randles-Scidwick equation. It is usally calculated with both the mean method and the regression method. It defaults to units cm2/s
  • Charge Transfer Rate: Charge transfer rate is calculated with the calculated diffusion coefficient. The D3TaLES calculators require at least three CV scans with varying scan rates to calculate charge transfer rate.
